The force behind the course!
Dick fell in love with the game of golf years ago while vacationing in Hawaii.  He decided with much consideration and Shirley's blessing to build a course in Kenai.  In 1986 the huge cats rolled onto what would become Kenai Golf Course.
Kenai Golf Course employees planted a tree in memory of Don Morgan.
The tree is between the #8 green and #9 tee.

A bench at the Kenai Fire Department in memory of Assistant Fire Chief Don Morgan.
The bench, landscaping, gravel and concrete work on the island of trees were completed using donations sent to the Kenai Firefighters Association following Chief Morgan's passing.  Labor for the project was provided by the fire department, Kenai Parks & Rec, Kenai Building Maintenance, RD Construction and Best Transit Mix. A bench with Donnie's words is at the #10 tee.
Many of us took the challenge from grinning Donnie?
