Daily Activities at Kenai Golf Course
Monday
Mixed Doubles--6:10 pm, 6:20 pm, 6:30 etc. tee times. Get on the tee sheet a day or a week ahead. All skill levels are welcome. It is a no pressure, just for fun evening of golf. The only requirement is the team be made up of a male and a female. The format is usually, play your own game but the awards usually have a twist to them. No matter what your final score you could be a "Winner of the Week" !
Tuesday
Ladies Night 6:00 pm & 6:10 pm, etc. weekly, all skill levels welcome. Tee times marked for the ladies each week. Just show up and play various "just for fun" format.
Wednesday
Kenai Cup matches on back and front starting at 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm tee times. Sign up in May or early June to join the Kenai Cup play. Each participant must be a Kenai Golf Association member with an established handicap.
Thursday
Men's Night starts at 6:00 pm sharp. Arrive early to get on the sign up sheet or call the desk to get on the sheet if you are pressed for time. All skill levels welcome. The format may be flexible to accommodate various golfers.
Big Thursday dates are June 3, July 1, July 29, Aug 26, Sept 16, 2004
During all of these activities the course remains open to the public. Kenai Golf Course is committed to getting its golfers out on the course as much as possible.
Golfing Lessons
Golfing lessons with Kenai Golf Course pro Bill Engberg. Call 283-7500 to get on his lesson schedule. Lessons may be on an individual basis or have lessons with a friend. No matter what your golfing skill level, the lessons will be customized to take that into consideration.
Clinics also are arranged by Bill on Saturdays. The clinics cover the overall golf swing, chipping, putting and pitching. Usually, the swing clinic is at 10 am. The Putting-Chipping-Pitching clinic starts at 12:30 pm.
Junior Golf
Kenai Golf Course has two junior golfing sessions during the summer. All skill levels are welcome to join the program.
The Junior Golf program consists of 5 instruction days and 5 play days in June and July. Junior sessions are $50 per junior golfer. The sessions in 2004 start on June 1 and the second session starts July 28, 2004.

Junior Tournaments
June 22, 2004 all juniors from 8 to 17 years of age are welcome to participate in the junior tournament. Tee times from 1:00 to 3:30 pm. Older junior golfers tee off first.
August 13, 2004 the KGA will have a junior tournament for all ages of juniors from 8 to 17 years of age.
